Karoline Beck has become a member of the Advisory Council on External Economic Policy

The Federal Minister of the Economy, Rainer Brüderle (FDP/Free Democratic Party), has made Karoline Beck, the Managing Director of IWG Isolier Wendt, a member of the Advisory Council on External Economic Policy within his Ministry. There she is one of 28 members who provide the Minister with advice in all matters relating to external economic policy such as foreign trade, direct investment, technology transfer, and industrial co-operation. Twice a year, she will meet the Minister in person in connection with this. That is how often the Council meets. “The members of the Advisory Council will be persons with experience in external economic policy who expressly do not act as representatives of the interests of trade associations”, are what it says on the Ministry’s website.
